Reporting and Writing
Reporting and writing is my favorite way to tell community stories because it allows me to include a variety of voices and perspectives and tie them together with research. I am extremely dedicated to my work in reporting and driven by curiosity about nuanced issues and the passion of potential sources.

Discipline and organization in interviews
In my reporting, I consistently work to approach interviews in an organized way and transcribe them accurately. The top image on the left displays a list of questions for my interview with CCHS varsity football head coach David Perno about football recruitment for college, and the second image shows my organized system for keeping track of the status of interviews. Below is a link to an example of my thorough transcription skills: my interview with CCHS boys varsity soccer head coach Chris Aiken. My dedication to the quality of these elements in the reporting process provide a strong and necessary foundation for all of my articles.
